ELLIE HOUSE GCSE PHOTOGRAPHY
Homepage
This is my homepage for my photography website. On this site you will see the photographs I have taken from projects such as Light trails, Foodscapes and individual pieces. My site also includes projects I have completed at home. Below are some of my best pieces of photography so far, this may change as I complete new projects and find out more types of photography pieces.
Each of my pieces of photography, from the first - to the last draft, have critiques. This is where we look at the work we have completed and think about what is good about the piece and how we can improve it to make it better for our next draft.
Most of my pieces of work have been completed in school, however there are examples of work done at home, for example my Scavenger Hunt photography work, this was where we had to go round our homes during the holidays and take examples of photographs with words we have been given to find for example - Find something yellow.
I hope you enjoy my work.
These are three examples from work I did for the Miniature World project. This is where we would take small soldiers or life looking objects and put them into everyday life while they are small. The aperture we were taught helped when making them look to scale with everyday objects when actually they were tiny.
For my projects I will include:
- At least 1 mindmap
- At least 1 moodboard
- At least 1 researched photographer/artist
- At least 5 photoshoots
- All shoots will be critically evaluated
- Shoots will be thematic and based on 1 theme that gradually develops
- All photographs, apart from final pieces, will be uploaded using the gallery element.
- A presented final piece that successfully achieves my aims for the project both technically and creatively.
My website will:
- Be very organised
- Have all of my photographs upload to the correct pages
- Present my work effectively by structuring my work with a consistent format.
- Not use lots of buttons to link pages!
- All project work will be presented onto 1 web page
- Not have any empty pages
- All work on my website will be my own. I will credit the work of the photographer I have used.
- Demonstrate that I have the ability to respond to feedback through updating my blog when I have actioned feedback from my teacher.
